3-year warranty on all our products
At Stefano Design, we take pride in the quality of our products. That’s why we offer a 3-year warranty on all our products, from the date of invoice. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and product quality problems only.
What the warranty covers
This warranty covers defects or anomalies that may affect the functionality and appearance of the product. This includes, but is not limited to:
Manufacturing defects: Any problems relating to the design, materials or manufacture of the product, such as defective or incorrectly assembled parts.
Quality defects: Problems occurring during the warranty period, caused by defects in materials or the manufacturing process. This includes unusual wear and tear and structural problems, such as premature deterioration of materials or defects affecting product strength.
Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not cover :
- Misuse or incorrect assembly: If the product has been misused or incorrectly assembled, the warranty will be void.
- Unauthorized modifications or alterations: Any modification or alteration made to the product by the customer will invalidate the warranty.
- Misuse: The warranty does not cover damage caused by obvious negligence or poor maintenance (such as exposure to extreme heat or humidity).
- External factors: Damage caused by external events, such as weather, fire, accidents or water, is not covered.
- Natural wear and tear: Products may show signs of natural wear and tear over time. This includes slight scratches or natural variations in the color of leather, wood or metals, which are normal phenomena and not covered by the warranty. However, abnormal wear of the product (for example, premature deterioration of finish or material due to a manufacturing defect) is covered by the warranty.
- Incorrect storage or maintenance: Damage due to incorrect storage or inappropriate conditions (such as storage in damp locations) is also excluded.
Suspension of warranty
We reserve the right to examine each returned product to determine the cause of defects or damage. If our experts determine that the damage is due to misuse or factors not covered by the warranty, the warranty may be withdrawn.
Warranty claim procedure
To submit a complaint, please send us :
- Detailed photos showing product defects or damage.
- Purchase invoice to confirm validity of request.
If you have any doubts about the condition of your product, or if you need advice before submitting a claim, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service department. We’re here to help you resolve any situation, and will do our utmost to provide you with appropriate solutions.
Possible solutions in the event of a defective product
If the product is deemed defective and under warranty, a solution will be proposed depending on the situation:
- Repair: If possible, we will arrange for spare parts to be sent to you so that you can replace the faulty part.
- Exchange: We will exchange the product for an identical or similar model.
- Partial refund: If the defect is slight and does not interfere with your use of the product, we can issue a partial refund/commercial gesture to compensate you.
- Refund: If no other solution is possible, we will return the product under warranty with a full refund.
Return under warranty
If your product is covered by warranty and you need to return it, Stefano Design will pay the return shipping costs. There will be no cost to you for the return, repair or exchange of the product. We’ll take care of all the logistics to provide you with a fast, efficient solution.
Free shipping of screws and bolts
If, during the warranty period, you need screws or small replacement parts for your product, we’ll be happy to send them to you free of charge. Simply contact our customer service department and we’ll send you the parts you need to maintain your furniture, free of charge.
