Terms & Conditions

Shipping information

1 – Location
All shipments leave our warehouse and are distributed worldwide. All shipments include the corresponding French VAT.

2 – Preparation
Shipments are prepared until 1:00 p.m. every afternoon, Monday to Friday, except in exceptional circumstances.. That’s why orders received before 12:00 p.m. usually leave our warehouse the same day.

The delivery service we use usually delivers within 7 to 12 days.

3.- Delivery times
Deliveries are made between 6am and 8pm. A 2-hour delivery appointment is made in advance by the carrier. It is imperative that someone is present to receive the order, so it is important to leave the contact details of the person responsible for receiving the order. It is customary to give precise instructions to enable the delivery driver to find the delivery address easily, using the “Delivery notes” field at the time of ordering. This is to avoid any delivery problems. If you wish to change the delivery date, you can do so up to 48 hours before the delivery appointment. If you require delivery on a specific day, or at a specific time slot, you can enter these details in the “Delivery notes” field when placing your order. This will be transmitted to the carrier, although is under no obligation to comply with these special requests. However, we do our best to meet our customers’ delivery requirements.
If the carrier is unable to deliver the order because the person in charge of receiving it is absent, or cannot be reached by telephone on the number previously provided, the order will be returned to the carrier’s warehouse in the destination town and a new delivery appointment will be proposed. For this reason, it is very important that customers provide a valid telephone number, preferably a mobile one.

When you receive your parcels, it is important to take the time to check their condition inside and out, and to notify the deliveryman of any problems when you hand over your order. Terms & Conditions

The products offered on this site are managed by STEFANO DESIGN.

STEFANO DESIGN sells to the customer and the customer buys the product(s) specified in the order and invoice. Registrations and deregistrations are updated daily in the catalog, offers, promotions, etc. In the event of a request for an out-of-print or discontinued product, we will notify you by e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided.

The conditions and prices displayed on the site are valid except for typographical errors. Prices are revised regularly and are subject to change without notice. You will be informed of the shipping costs when you place your order. If you would like to offer a delivery method other than the one indicated on the website, please contact us before placing your order.

Orders may be cancelled at no cost to the customer before being picked up by the transport company. If this is the case, please send us an e-mail as soon as possible to contact@stefanodesign.com so that we can cancel it. If the order has already been collected by the carrier, the amount of the actual cost applied by the carrier is deducted from the amount to be refunded. The differential amount is paid as soon as possible.

Orders placed before 12 p.m. are prepared and dispatched the same day (barring exceptions or stock shortages), and customers receive them within 7 to 12 days. Orders placed after this time are dispatched the following day. These conditions apply only to orders paid for by credit card or instant transfer.
STEFANO DESIGN does not store any data relating to payment or the credit or debit card used for payment. The entire card payment transaction is carried out via a bank’s secure payment gateway, with data encrypted using SSL protocol to prevent third parties from intercepting the information. All guarantees of security, confidentiality and integrity for participating operators, whether cardholders or their issuers, merchants or buyers, must be provided for transactions carried out over the Web.
STEFANO DESIGN is not responsible if the site is temporarily inaccessible or unavailable. The connection may be temporarily suspended in the event of system failure, maintenance or repair, or any other circumstance beyond its control.
In the event of vacations, the STEFANO DESIGN team will endeavour to give sufficient advance notice of the duration and dates of such periods, during which shipments will exceptionally be suspended.

Prices and payment terms

You can make your purchases with the following payment gateways:

– Traditional bank transfer (once the payment slip has been sent by e-mail, after the order has been placed, orders paid by bank transfer will have a waiting period of 3 working days. If payment is not received within this period of 3 working days, the order will be cancelled without any right to reserve the price).
– Deferred payment with funds available on the website (STEFANO DESIGN is not bound to contractual conditions with financial conditions)

Refund rights

Refunds and modifications are made at the end of the month by the same payment method used to purchase the product.

Disputes

In the event of a dispute, STEFANO DESIGN will make every effort to respond as quickly as possible. STEFANO DESIGN is at your complete disposal and welcomes the opinions of its customers. STEFANO DESIGN strives every day to build customer loyalty and always meet their expectations.

Personal data

At STEFANO DESIGN, once the order has been placed, the customer’s personal information and data are only used to process the shipment, to contact the customer in the event of a problem or to send newsletters. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time from the newsletter you receive or from your customer account.

Shipping incidents

  • Cuts and/or tears: in the unlikely event that the parcel arrives damaged or in poor condition, it is imperative to indicate this on the delivery note filled in by the delivery person at the time of delivery. STEFANO DESIGN recommends accepting damaged goods, provided that this has been reported to the delivery person, and deliberately mentioned on the delivery note signed by the customer. You must then report the incident to us by email at contact@stefanodesign.com, and we will then be able to resolve the incident. If no mention is made on the delivery note, it will be difficult to file a claim with the shipping company.
  • Loss: in the event of loss of a shipment, STEFANO DESIGN will organize a new shipment with the carrier and will proceed with the claim at no cost to the customer. In this case, additional delivery time is possible. STEFANO DESIGN will do everything in its power to reduce it as much as possible.
  • Delay: in the event of unjustified delay in the delivery of a parcel, the customer must notify STEFANO DESIGN so that we can proceed with the corresponding claim. At present, transport companies rarely cover the cost of shipping, but if compensation can be obtained, they will inform the customer. STEFANO DESIGN will not compensate customers for delivery delays caused by the carrier.
  • If the customer refuses delivery of the package : if the customer refuses delivery, regardless of the nature of the reason, without prior authorization or express consent from STEFANO DESIGN, STEFANO DESIGN reserves the right and may unilaterally decide, in the event of cancellation of the order, to reimburse the customer the amount of the purchase less the actual transport costs generated or, in the event of a new delivery of the goods, to invoice this new delivery.

Return policy

We will not accept returns of used products that are not in perfect condition, clean and with their original packaging and protection. Products must be free of assembly marks. For this reason, refunds or product changes will only be made after receipt of the goods at our premises and after inspection. If, on receipt of the package, these conditions are not met, the refund will not be accepted.
The refund request must be made within 30 days of receipt of the product.  If, for any reason, compliance with this deadline is not possible, the customer must contact STEFANO DESIGN so that STEFANO DESIGN can approve different conditions. Once the 30-day period has expired, STEFANO DESIGN will not accept refunds for failure to purchase products. This retraction is only accepted if the product has not been handled and has no symptoms of assembly/use.

Exceptions to the above return policy arespecial or customized orders, , which have no right of return for any reason whatsoever,except for production defects.
In the event of withdrawal from the purchase of a product, the customer must contact STEFANO DESIGN as soon as possible by sending an email to contact@stefanodesign.com.
 
The free 30-day return policy does not apply in Switzerland. 

Return conditions

STEFANO DESIGN accepts all returns that meet these requirements:

  • Request in writing within 30 days of delivery of goods.
  • The item must be in the same packaging conditions as those in which it was delivered and in its original packaging, in perfect condition, with no signs of assembly or use, which means that the product seal must not have been tampered with in any way, including manuals, accessories and warranty documents. In addition, items must reach STEFANO DESIGN properly packaged and protected to prevent damage during return transport. If this is not the case, the refund cannot be accepted or the amount of the estimated damage may be subtracted from the payment.
  • Once the item has been received and inspected by STEFANO DESIGN, the refund will be made using the same payment system used at the time of the order.
  • If, at the time the customer receives a product, it is broken or defective, STEFANO DESIGN reserves the right to decide to refund the amount paid or to replace it with a new product in perfect condition.
  • If the defect subsequently appears, the case is examined and the steps specified in the product warranty are followed.

In the event of non-compliance with the requirements or observation of any damage/dysfunction/use on the product, STEFANO DESIGN retains the right not to accept the refund or to deduct the amount of the estimated damage together with the shipping costs.

Contact us by email at contact@stefanodesign.com, indicating the order number and the products you wish to return. We will get back to you as soon as possible and arrange a refund as quickly as possible.
 
It is imperative to inform STEFANO DESIGN before returning any product so that there are no problems during processing and so that our team can check receipt of the material.

3-year warranty

All our products come with a 3-year guarantee. This means that if, within 3 years of the date of receipt, the CUSTOMER notices that an item is malfunctioning, he or she can send the after-sales service a report with supporting PHOTOS and VIDEOS, describing the damage to the best of his or her ability, and request either a refund or an exchange. In all cases, STEFANO DESIGN cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with regulatory and legislative provisions in force in the country of receipt, the responsibility of STEFANO DESIGN is systematically limited to the value of the product in question, value at its date of sale and without possibility of recourse against the brand or company producing the product.


In all cases, STEFANO DESIGN cannot be held responsible for scratches and wear defects on the product NOT NOTED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY and notified to the carrier at the time of delivery. The same applies to assembly errors or misuse of the product.
